Highly inspired Bangladesh Cricket team will take on Ireland Cricket team in their first One Day International (ODI) match at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium today. The match will start at 2.00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time). Private satellite sports channel T Sports and private satellite channel GTV will telecast the match live.
Before today’s match, Bangladesh and Ireland faced each other in 10 ODI matches. Of them, Bangladesh posted seven victories, while Ireland won two matches and one match ended without any result.
Head Coach of Bangladesh Cricket team Chyandika Hathurusingha said, ” Ireland Cricket team are very dangerous. We respect them like England Cricket team. We don’t take Ireland lightly. We have taken preparation to face them like we took groundwork against the world champions England Cricket team. We honour Ireland Cricket team. But we are not afraid of any team. Our preparation is almost same against any team. My boys will try to present better brand of cricket against them. When my boys can give their best effort, they can beat any team.”
Chandika said, ” Our target is always win when my boys play against any opponents. But they have also done some experiments. My boys will try to execute their opportunities. They will also try to win.”
Before Saturday’s match, players of Bangladesh Cricket team got only one day for preparation.
But Hathurusingha said, ” I don’t think that my boys didn’t get enough preparation against Ireland. Bangladesh were busy to play Twenty20 International (T20I) matches against England. It was also a preparation. Cricket is such kind of game that a team can get good training if they are busy to play competitive matches. But they can do main work when they play a match. Their preparation will be good if they play formal matches.”
