LBFL observed Financial Literacy Day 2023

LankaBangla Finance Limited (LBFL) observed “Financial Literacy Day 2023″recently with an aim to develop awareness and knowledge on financial matters and services that effectively facilitates the skills, behavior and attitude of an individual towards impactful financial decision helpful for personal wellbeing as well as for the society as a whole. The program was carried out by the Branch Managers of 27 branches of LankaBangla Finance Limited located all over Bangladesh by organizing a discussion based seminar with the customers in their respective office premises throughout the day. In this program, the officials of the company discussed with the customers about banking related knowledge, consumer rights and consumer empowerment, various financial products and services of LankaBangla Finance, importance of banking services and transactions through digital medium and importance of Financial Literacy Day etc. ‘Financial Literacy Day’ – part of the financial literacy program is an initiative by Bangladesh Bank for country’s people to acquiring the knowledge, skills, confidence and competencies to safely digitally delivered financial products and services to make informed financial decision. Also, through this step the people of the country can be informed about all financial knowledge such as savings, borrowing, financial products and planning, access to financial services, entrepreneurship, financial systems and participants, payment system and digital transformation, grievances redress mechanism and consumer protection etc, said a press release.
