Mercantile Bank holds workshop on student banking

Mercantile Bank PLC organised a workshop on implementing student banking guidelines and conducting financial literacy programmes at its head office recently.

Bangladesh Bank Financial Inclusion Department Director Md Iqbal Mohasin attended the workshop as Chief Guest, while Bangladesh Bank Deputy Director Md Shamim Al Mamun was present as Special Guest, according to a press release.

The workshop was organized by the Corporate Liability and Cash Management Division of Mercantile Bank.

Mercantile Bank Managing Director Mati Ul Hasan presided over the workshop, titled “Implementation of the Student Banking Guidelines and Execution of Financial Literacy Programs”.

Md Iqbal Mohasin and Md Shamim Al Mamun also served as resource persons and conducted the workshop.

Before the programme, Mati Ul Hasan unveiled three new brochures on the bank’s student banking services.

Mercantile Bank Deputy Managing Director and Chief Business Officer Dr Md Zahid Hossain delivered the welcome address.
