Mohammedan begin practice under Head Coach Alfaz Ahmed tomorrow

Traditional outfit Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited will begin their practice under newly appointed Head Coach Alfaz Ahmed from tomorrow. Earlier, Mohammedan lost to minnows Fortis Club by 3-4 goals in their recent Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football. So, the Technical Committee decided to step down Shafiqul Islam Manik from the post of Head Coach of Mohammedan. Manik tried his level best to retain his post. But the Technical Committee of Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited finally decided to step down Manik from his post. The Technical Committee is consists of noted former footballers Imtiaz Sukltan Johny, former renowned player Hasanuzzaman Bablu, former famous footballer Rumman Bin Wali Sabbir, former noted footballer Jashim Uddin Joshi, former footballer Elias Hossain, organiser Fazlur Rahman Babul and organiser Abu Hasan Prince. Imtiaz Sultan is the head of Technical Committee. After Mohammedan’s dismal performance, the members of Technical Committee discussed with Engineer Golam Mohammad Alamgir, the Chairman of the Football Committee of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited . The Technical Committee suggested him to step down Manik from the post.
Later, Golam Mohammad Alamgir discussed with Shafiqul Islam Manik. But Alamgir was not satisfied with the oral speech of Manik. So, Manik was bound to submit his resignation to the Chairman of the Football Committee of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited. Chairman of the Committee accepted his resignation letter.
Meanwhile, Hasanuzzaman Bablu said, ” Shafiqul Islam Manik said, ” Mohammedan will fight for championship title after the officials formed the Mohammedan Sporting Football team. But the result of the Mohammedan is not satisfactory. So, there is no alternative but to sack him. And the authority sacked him.”
