Shakib plays 400 International matches

Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan played 400 International matches on Friday. He played for Bangladesh against England in the second One Day International (ODI) match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in the city’s Mirpur on Friday. He is the second cricketer of Bangladesh who played 400 International matches. Prolific wicketkeeper-batter Mushfiqur Rahim is the first cricketer of Bangladesh who played above 400 international matches. He played 427 International matches (including Friday’s One Day International match). Besides, SBNCS hosted 200 International matches on Friday. The SBNCS is the 6th cricket venue of the world which hosted 200 International matches. SBNCS also hosted 100 International matches of Bangladesh.
Shakib Al Hasan made his debut in 2006. Shakib Al Hasan needs four wickets to bag 300 wickets in the ODI cricket. If Shakib can capture 300 wickets, he will be the first Bangladesh bowler who grabs 300 wickets. Earlier, a total of 13 bowlers of the world captured 300 or above 300 wickets in ODI cricket.
If the left-arm all-rounder can score 77 runs, he will be the second batter of Bangladesh who scores 7000 runs in ODI cricket.
Captain of Bangladesh ODI Cricket team Tamim Iqbal is the only batter who scored above 8000 runs in ODI cricket.
