I feel very lonely since Ayub Bachchu passed away: James
After a long hiatus of twelve years, the rockstar is set to perform a concert in Rome, Italy, on August 16-coincidentally, the same day as birthday of Ayub Bachchu.
At a press conference held in the ballroom of a hotel in Rome ahead of a concert, James paid tribute to his friend and legendary musician, Ayub Bachchu.
“We always woked together; we were inseparable. So, I feel very lonely since he left; I don’t want to say anything more than that,” he said.
James and Ayub Bachchu started their journey together. However, James is still grappling with the pain of losing a dear friend and longtime colleague after the demise of Ayub Bachchu on October 18, 2018.
James, popularly known as ‘Nagarbaul’, embarked on a musical tour of Europe during the last week of July.
His tour began with a concert in London, with performances scheduled in Portugal, Cyprus, Italy, and Sweden. Notably, he performed in Portugal for the first time during this tour.
James states that the genuine love and support from Bangladeshis living abroad always serve as a great source of inspiration for artists.
The way expatriates remain connected to Bengali music and culture, even while living in foreign lands, inspires the artists.
