Magnitude 6.5 earthquake shook Papua New Guinea

Different countries around the world are being shaken by earthquakes one after another. An earthquake measuring 6.5 on the Richter scale struck the New Britain area of Papua New Guinea in the early hours of Sunday, February 26 local time.
According to the US Geological Survey, no damage has been reported yet in this earthquake. No tsunami warning was issued. The depth of this earthquake at the origin was 38 km, reports Reuters.
The tremor was also felt in Kimbe city, which is about 80 km from the place of origin of the earthquake.
