36 DU students get deans award

A total of 36 students from different departments under the Faculty of Social Science of Dhaka University have been given Dean’s Award for their excellent academic results in BSS (Hons) examinations.
DU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Dr Mohammad Samad and DU Pro-VC (Academic) Dr ASM Maksud Kamal distributed the awards among the students, who secured maximum CGPA in the BSS examinations held from 2018 to 2020.
DU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman addressed the programme as chief guest while noted economist and president of Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) Binayak Sen addressed as Dean’s Award Speaker.
