Barrister Nazmul Huda laid to rest

Former BNP minister Barrister Nazmul Huda, who died on Sunday, was buried after Asr prayer at his family graveyard in Shain Pukur village under Dohar upazila of Dhaka on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, three namaz-e-janazas for Barrister Nazmul Huda, former communications minister and BNP’s former influential leader, were held on Monday.
Of those, first one was held at Dhanmondi’s Baitul Aman mosque at 11am, the second one on the Supreme Court premises around 12:30pm, while the third one at Dhaka’s Doha after Zuhr prayer.
Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique, Judges of the Appellate and High Court division, Attorney General AM Amin Uddin, Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President Md Momtaz Uddin Fakir, Former Presidents Yusuf Hussain Humayun and Joynul Abedin, SCBA Secretary Abdun Noor Dulal, Former Secretary AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon, Registrar General of the Supreme Court Md Golam Rabbani, current and former SCBA leaders, officers of the Attorney General’s Office, senior advocates of the Supreme Court, officials of the Supreme Court administration and large number of lawyers and court officials participated in the janaza that was held on the SC premises.
Nazmul Huda’s body was taken to his birth place in Doha after the second funeral prayer.
He breathed his last at about 10:00pm on Sunday at Square Hospital in Dhaka.
Nazmul Huda was suffering from various complicated diseases over the last several years.
