BCB announces 4-member ODI squad for England series

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced on Thursday night the 14-menber Bangladesh One Day International (ODI) squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against England.
Towhid Hridoy, who showed a brilliant performance for Sylhet Strikers in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket, which concluded recently, has been called by the selectors of Bangladesh Cricket Board. Dashing opener Tamim Iqbal has returned to the squad and will lead Bangladesh ODI Cricket team in the three-match ODI series against England. Tamim missed the recently concluded India ODI series as he had groin injury that time. Litton Das led Bangladesh ODI team and earned a 2-1 series win against India. The three-match ODI series between Bangladesh and England is the part of International Cricket Council (ICC) ODI Super League. Bangladesh will take on England in the first ODI at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur on March 1. Bangladesh will face England in the second ODI at the same venue on March 3. The hosts will meet the tourists in the third ODI at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on March 6.
The cricketers, who have been chosen for Bangladesh squad, are: Tamim Iqbal (Captain), Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Litton Das, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Afif Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, Ebadot Hossain, Hasan Mahmud, Taijul Islam and Towhid Hridoy.
