Bangladesh to send relief materials to Syria

Bangladesh is sending relief materials for the Syrians impacted by the catastrophic earthquake that has killed several thousands of people and smashed the buildings into debris.
“Bangladesh government has decided to send relief materials and medical equipment to Syria by a C-130J aircraft of the Bangladesh Air Force after the earthquake. The materials include big and small tents, quilts, sweaters, dry foods and medicines,” Inter Services Public Relation Directorate (ISPR) said on Friday.
The C-130J will begin its journey on February 10 to Syria and return to Dhaka after the completion of the mission, which will be led by Group Captain of Bangladesh Air Force Jamil Uddin Ahmed, it read.
On February 6, Syria was badly affected by a powerful earthquake which caused huge casualties. Several thousand people have already died so far and many are trapped under the debris.
The catastrophe has caused a huge humanitarian crisis and the country is now undergoing through the crises of food, water, shelter and emergency treatment.
