Senior Journo Nurun Nabi no more

Senior journalist ATM Nurun Nabi passed away at a city hospital on Wednesday. He was 76.
Nurun Nabi, who had long been suffering from various old-age complications, was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of Ad-Din Hospital on January 19 where he breathed his last around 9:00am yesterday.
Hailing from a noble Muslim family of Shalgaria in Pabna district, Nurun Nabi graduated from Rajshahi University in political science.
A very amicable personality, Nurun Nabi, till his hospital admission date had been serving The New Nation as a senior journalist for more than a decade. Earlier, he also worked as a senior journalist at The Independent and Bangladesh Today.  
His first Namaz-e-Janaza was held on Ad-Din Hospital premises after Zohr prayers. His second Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Baganbari Mosque after Asr prayers before he was buried at Khilgaon Taltola graveyard.
He left behind his wife, a son, three daughters, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his death. The New Nation family mourns his death and prays for the peace of the departed soul. The New Nation also expressed deep condolence to the bereaved family.
