Three cattle-lifter arrested in Patuakhali

District Intelligence Branch (DB) police arrested three cattle-lifter with three stolen cows in Patuakhali district town on Monday from the Lohalia river pasture on the north side of the Bricks Field of Sultan Mridha in Ward No. 1 of the town. The arrested are: Mahabul Sikder (46), Kamal Howlader (40), Jasim (38). Mahabul is the son of Fazar Ali Sikdar of Purba Lakshipur area of Dasmina upazila, Kamal Hawladar is the son of deceased Kader Hawladar of Char Agasti village of Charbiswas Union of Galachipa and Jasim is the son of Hazrat Ali Akan of Ward No. 7 of the same union. According to DB Police, under the direction of District Superintendent of Police Saidul Islam said under the leadership of DB Police Officer In-Charge OC AKM Ajmal Huda, on the basis of secret information, three cattle-lifter were from a trawler on Lohalia River Char. Three cattle along stolen from Kalagachia Union of Galachipa upazila under Patuakhali district were recovered from the arrestees.

Training on dev of cow husbandry held

 With the aim of creating employment for unemployed youth, a seven day-long cow husbandry training was inaugurated at Lalmonirhat Message Office organized by Youth Development Department of Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila under the management of the voluntary organization Tarunyera Alo Jubo Kalyan Sansthan on Monday. The Chief guest at the inaugural function Deputy Director of District Youth Development Directorate Abdul Majeed. The special guest was Assistant Director of District Youth Development Department Borhan Uddin. Others speakers were Assistant Upazila Youth Development Officer Razia Sultana and Presided Tarunyera Alo Youth Welfare Association Shahid Islam Sujan. At this time, Tausif Hossain Ripon, General Secretary of Youth Light Youth Welfare Association, Golam Rabbani, Organizational Secretary, Mitu Akhter, Women’s Affairs Editor, members, trainers and trainees were present.
