BFF to invite Argentina for friendly match

The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) will invite Argentina Football team to play a friendly football match. The opponents have not yet finalised.
Earlier, Argentina led by Lionel Messi visited Bangladesh on September 6 in 2011 and played a FIFA friendly match against Nigeria at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.
It may be mentioned that the Albiceleste emerged the champions in the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar beating France by 4-3 goals in the tie-breaker of a nail-biting final on December 18. The stipulated match was ended in a 3-3 draw.
President of the BFF Kazi Salahuddin said on Monday, “This is not something concrete. Nothing has been finalised yet. But we are trying to bring them in June-July this year.”
“We got a positive response from them. They said they are interested. We thought about [bringing] PSG but there is a problem.
