Victim girl rescued, abductor held from Natore

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 rescued an abducted schoolgirl of Lalmonirhat district and arrested the prime kidnapper from Naldanga upazila in Natore district today.
“On a tip-off, an operational team of RAB-5 with assistance of RAB-13 conducted a raid there, rescued the victim and arrested the prime kidnapper from the area at 4 am,” said a press release issued by RAB-13 here Thursday.
The arrested prime accused abductor is Md. Hridoy Chowkidar, of village Kinaullah Matbarkandi in Zajira upazila of Shariatpur district. Earlier, Hridoy Chowkidar in connivance with his other cohorts abducted the girl, a student of class ten, of village Dolgram in Kaliganj upazila of Lalmonirhat district from the same area on January 1.
