Jubo League leader, 2 others held with yaba in Lakshmipur

The elite force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-11) arrested three persons including a Jubo League leader and UP member with 8,5020 pieces of yaba tablets in Lakshmipur.
They were arrested from Madhya Chararmani Mohan village under Sadar Upazila on Tuesday (Jan 3).
The accused have been identified as UP member and Jubo League leader Monir Hossain Sajib, 28, UP gatekeeper Amir Hossain, 32, and one Md. Ibrahim, 31.
Mohammad Mosleh Uddin, Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) confirmed the matter to the media on Wednesday afternoon.
Being informed, police conducted a drive in the village and arrested them along with the yaba pills. Earlier, RAB handed over the arrested people to the police station, he added.
