GD filed for making ‘derogatory comments’ on PM

A general diary (GD) has filed against Md Mifta Uddin, Former Publicity Secratary of Dakshin Surma upazila Jamaat for making ‘derogatory comments’ on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Government on social media recently.
Ansar Ali local leader of Lalabazar Union Awami League filed the GD with Dakshin Surma Police Station. Md Mifta Uddin had been making derogatory comments about Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Government on Facebook and other social media since 2020.
Legal action has been taken against Mifta Uddin under the ICT Act. Officer-in Charge of Dakshin Surma Police Station Confirmed the GD and said, a team of Police Raided the house of accused Mifta Uddin and also investigate this matter.
At this time local Awami League leaders and activists attacked Mifta Uddin’s house in the presence of the police and vandalized valuables.
