BAUET gets nat’l award for tree plantation

Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAUET) in Kadirabad Cantonment, Natore has secured second place among all educational institutions. The ‘Tree Plantation National Award-2025’ was given by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

BAUET’s Honorable Vice Chancellor Brigadier General SM Lutfar Rahman received the award from Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Abdul Awal Mintu on Sunday at the Hoimanti Conference Centre of the Forest Department, Dhaka,

The BAUET authorities said that the award was received in recognition of the implementation of an extensive tree plantation and maintenance program on the university campus to conserve the environment and make it green.

This is an important recognition of the educational institution’s eco-friendly initiatives.
