Drug trader arrested along with 2.5 kgs ganja

A drug trader named Md. Siraj Molla (56) was arrested along with 2.5 kgs ganja from the village Purbo Saralia under Morrelganj Upazila in Bagerhat district by the DB police of Bagerhat district on Monday noon.
It is learnt from the DB police source that on the day acting on secret information the members of the DB police raided the village Purbo Saralia and arrested the drug trader just in front of the local Town High School along with a bag. Latter, the police searched the bag and recovered 2 kgs 500 grams ganja from it. The DB police lodged a case with the local PS under Narcotic Act against the arrestee and handed him over to the police.
The drug trader Md. Siraj Molla is the son of one Asgar Molla of village Toyka under Muladi Upazila in Barishal district.
