Tamim uncertain for India ODI series

BSS, Dhaka :
Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal’s participation in the three-match ODI series against India looked uncertain as he suffered a groin injury during an inter-squad practice at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.
According to the team management, he was advised to take a two weeks rest, which meant his possibility to play the first Test is also uncertain.
The first Test begins on December 14 after the three-match ODI series finishes on December 10.
But the chief selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu said they will wait for the scan report Tamim before ruling him out of the ODI series.
“We are waiting for his scan report. The physio said he will take a clear decision on Tamim after seeing his scan report,” Abedin said here on Thursday.
