Ring leader Naushed arrested in Lama

Noted criminal Nowshed Alam Chowdhury alias Nowshed Mia of Lohagara and Bandarban, Lama Upazilas of Chattogram was arrested by the Lama Thana police on Sunday.
A group of 20/25 people with 10/12 heavy weapons in Sarai Union of Lama Thana near Lohagara. Arfatul Islam, a disabled person, was arrested by the police of Lama police station when he tried to occupy the house of a disabled person with the terrorist. Nowshed Mia is the son of Belayet Hossain deceased of Lohagara Upazila.
 According to the search, Naushed Mia shot and killed a young man named Nazrul Islam with a pistol in front of thousands of spectators at Padua in Lohagara in 1987.
In that case, he served several years in jail and became reckless. Since Lama Upazila of Bandarban is adjacent to Lohagara of Chittagong, he started to establish a reign of terror in both areas.
Robbery, extortion, encroachment, there is no such terrorist activity that he does not do. Even the mosque shop built by Lama Police Station in Sarai Union Bazaar is alleged to have been seized by him.
In addition, the husband of a woman named Noor Jahan of that area has been accused in a political murder case in Lohagara.
