Farmer’s body recovered in Shahzadpur

The dead body of a farmer named Shamsul Haque Molla (48) was recovered from the agricultural land of Syedpur village of Jalalpur union of Shahzadpur upazila of Sirajganj. Deceased Shamsul Haque son of deceased Jalal Hossain of Syedpur. It is believed that he was left here after being strangled.
On Tuesday morning, police recovered his body from the land of Syedpur village of Jalalpur union. Police and locals said that on Tuesday morning, local farmers went to Syedpur land and found the body of Shamsul Haque lying there.
Later, when the police were informed, they recovered the body and brought it. It is believed that the miscreants deliberately left the body there after suffocating him to death.
SI Malek, who was at the scene, said that the body was recovered and sent to Sirajganj Bangmata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib General Hospital morgue for autopsy. The actual cause of death will be known after the post-mortem report.
