Afridi likely to miss BPL due to knee injury

Pakistan likely to miss pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi for an extended period of time as he injured during the T20 World Cup final at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Australia on Sunday against England, he is expected to miss the home series against England and New Zealand between December 2022 and January 2023.
It is believed that he has aggravated the knee injury from which he had recently recovered, which also means he could miss the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) in January.
Comilla Victorians had bagged Afridi for the next year’s franchise league.
