Tota Roy Chy turns down H’wood offer as wife doesn’t like it

Tota Roy Chowdhury is a talented actor from Kolkata. He has now moved beyond the boundaries of Tollywood and is now busy in Bollywood. He is now a regular face in Hindi cinema. He is also acting in Tamil.

However, the strange thing is that he has turned down an offer from a Hollywood film. Tota said that he did not do the film considering his wife’s ‘discomfort’.

In an interview with Anandabazar, Tota said, “The character was quite good. But I turned down the offer because, there was a bed scene.

I clearly said, if there is a bed scene of Hollywood pattern, I will not act. If you want to take me, leave out that scene.

And if not, leave me out.” Tota has never done intimate scenes in Tollywood’s Bengali films.

The reason for this is his wife. He says, “My wife doesn’t like it. So, I don’t do (intimate scenes).

Although I know it can be done professionally, and now there are various ways. But why should I do something that my wife doesn’t like, that gives her pain?”
