Woman’s body recovered

Police have recovered the bloody body of a woman from the side of the Bhuapur-Tarakandi regional Highway of Tangail on Tuesday The deceased was identified as Mala (26), daughter of Tara Khan of Jagatpura village in Arjuna union of the upazila.
Locals said that late at night, the woman was lying on the road next to Tarai graveyard in a bloody condition. Later, when the police was informed, they recovered the woman from the spot.
Referring to the relatives of the deceased Mala, Mahmudul Haque, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Bhuapur Police Station said that after receiving the information, we recovered the body of the woman in a bloody condition from graveyard side road. Before that, Mala used to live with her relative’s house in Dhaka and she was a divorced woman having mental sickness as far I get information from her family members.
The body has been sent to Tangail General Hospital for autopsy and it will be handed over to his family after completing all legal proceedings, he also added.
