One held with trawler, stolen diesel

A thief was arrested along with a steel body trawler and stolen 1800 liters diesel by the joint forces of the coastguards of the Western Zone deployed Mongla and the police of Mongla PS from Bangbandhu International Mongla-Ghasiakhli canal near at Madrasa Road in Mongla Port town under Bagerhat district recently according to a delayed report received here.
It is learnt from a source of the joint forces that acting on secret information the joint forces raided Bangabandhu International Mongla-Ghasiakhali canal near at Madrasa Road at the night and seized the trawler loaded with diesel stolen from a foreign ship anchored at Mongla Sea Port and one thief named Riaz Hawladar (22) at the night. Arrested Riaz Hawladar is the son of one Enamul Hawladar of Ksinmsri area within Chandpai Union under Mongla Upazila in Bagrhat disrict.
Md. Monirul Islam, Officer-in-charge of Mongla PS told, a thief was arrested along with a trawler and stolen diesel from Bangabandhu Internationl Ghasiakhali canal by the joint forces and the forest guards already lodged a case with the PS in this connation and the arrestee and the trawler loaded with the stolen diesel were handed over to the PS for taking legal action. It may be mentioned here that before this on September 14 thee (3) thousand 3 hundred 50 liters diesel and 1 thousand 80 meters long mooring rope stolen from the foreign ships anchored at Mongla Port (under Mongla Upazila) in Bagerhat district by the law enforcing agency
