The tourist spots in the country have been flooded by the visitors. After getting five day holiday, people left the house for roaming about the tourists around the country.
The beach town of Cox’s Bazar, the country’s one of the hottest tourist spots, is now overcrowded with visitors, forcing posh hotels to turn away many guests.
The tourist town has been witnessing an increased flow of tourists from different parts of the country.
“All the top ranking hotels are now fully booked. This trend will continue for next five days, said Mohammed Abdul Kauiam Chowdhury, general secretary of Cox’s Bazar Hotel, Motel Owners Association, told the New Nation.
Chowdhury said weekly holidays, Puja and Eid-e- Miladunnabi contributed to the
huge jump in the tourist inflow.
The same situation in the country’s another two most attractive tourist spots Sajek and Kuakata. There is no vacant room in the hotels, motels as a lot of visitors are visiting these sites.
