Patuakhali AL man hacked to death

Staff Reporter :A local Awami League (AL) leader was hacked to death by unidentified miscreants at his house in Patuakhali Sadar Upazila on Friday evening.The deceased identified as Nasir Hawlader, 42, was also a member of Motherbunia Union Parishad, police said. Sadar Police Station’s Officer-in-Charge (OC) SM Ziaul Haque said that the miscreants entered his house at Boshak Bazar around 6:30pm and chopped him indiscriminately, leaving him dead on the spot.The motive behind the murder and other details were not available instantly, the police official said. Police are trying to investigate the matter, the OC said.
