Lightning strikes kill 3 in Cox’s Bazar

Three people were killed and two others injured in lightning strikes in Pekua and Kutubdia upazilas of Cox’s Bazar on Sunday.
The victims were identified as Imtiaz (25), son of Md. Jaker Ullah from South Dhurung union of Kutubdia upazila, Karim (25), son of Md. Chaber and Mohammad Ali (32), son of Ali Hossain of Saratghona area of Magnama union of Pekua upazila.
The injured have been identified as Ramiz, 38, and Akkas, 22, sons of Jaker Ullah of Chullarpara area in Uttar Dhurung union of Kutubdia upazila.
