Preity’s legal battle against deepfake videos, fake content

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has received permission from the Bombay High Court to launch a legal battle against allegations of misuse of AI-powered deepfake videos and digital content.

The court’s decision will allow Preety to file a lawsuit against multiple digital platforms and websites, including Google LLC, Meta Platforms, and others. The Bombay High Court granted this permission on Tuesday.
