Sonia Hossain in govt-grant movie

Sonia Hossain is at a time model, actress, dancer and anchor. Right now she has been also engaged with studying law. She had keen interest to work in government-grant movie. Director Hridy Haque came forward to fulfil her dream. Now Hridy Haque is making own written story based government-grant movie titled 1971 Seisob Dingulo. Sonia informed that she will be seen to perform in an important role of a
special song in the movie. Sonia has already taken part in shooting of the movie in Old Dhaka recently. Title of the song is Ye Roshan Sitare. Trisha Chatterjee has rendered the song under music composition of Debjit Mishra.
While talking about acting in the government-grant movie for the first time Sonia Hossain said, “I had keen interest to act in government-grant movie. Hridy Apa was informed the matter so I got the opportunity to work in this film. Earlier, I had experience
to work under Hridy Apa’s direction. While working under her direction in movie I have realised that the young talented directors who want to give direction properly their government-grants should be increased. As a result, the work becomes good. Hridy Apa is doing the work sincerely. While asking her why she took me to perform in the song, she told me she likes me so much. I was demand for the song. I am very much hopeful about the song.” Sonia Hossain first acted in Arshad Adnan produced and Alvi Ahmed directed movie U-Turn. Later, she got offer to work in movies for several times. Due to mismatch of schedule she could not work later. Meanwhile, Sonia is very much expert in Urdu. For this reason, director Hridy Haque is dependent on Sonia for making this film. Sonia is also trying to give her level best effort for using Urdu
language in the movie, Sonia also said. Meanwhile, Sonia Hossain
presented a special dance performance with songs to mark the birth
centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Viewers will enjoy this performance on YouTube
