Kim Kardashian called out for cultural appropriation

Pictures of reality TV star Kim Kardashian, wearing earrings that appear to have the ‘Om’ symbol on them, are attracting attention online. The symbol is sacred in Indian religions, including Hinduism. Kim posted the pictures earlier this week, as a part of a spread for her KKW Beauty line. She wrote in her caption, “I did a photoshoot with Sita using all KKW Beauty products! Photo, styling and creatives all done by @sitabellan!” The stylist, Sita Abellan, shared the same pictures and wrote, “Kim photographed and styled by me so much fun.”
