3 killed in Kishoreganj road accident

At least three people were killed and four others injured after a truck rammed an auto-rickshaw at Kalikaprosad area in Bhairab upazila of Kishoreganj on Thursday afternoon.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Mamun Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhairab Highway Police Station, confirmed the matter to The New Nation.
Highway OC said that a Kishoreganj-bound truck rammed the auto-rickshaw on Kishoreganj-Bhairab Highway on Thursday afternoon, leaving a passenger of the rickshaw dead on the spot and several others injured.
Later, two of the injured died after being taken to Bhairab Upazila Health Complex, he added.
