Special security measures have been taken ahead of Eid-ul-Azha and Durga Puja in the district. This year the Eid-ul-azha will be celebrated on October 06 (Monday) and Durga Puja will begin in the district over 355 mandaps from on Tuesday.
Kishoreganj District Administration have started taking preparation to take fool-proof security arrangement to ensure smooth holding of upcoming Durga Puja and Eid the two major religious festivals of the Muslim and Hindu communities.
Police super Anowar Hossion Khan said that District police have sent requests to all shoping malls and other important place including cattle market to keep the close circuit camenas along with audio system operating.
About one thousand members of Law enforcing agencies will be deployed to ensure maximum security around the Sholakia Eidgah.
