The hero of the first Test victory against Australia is Hasan Mahmud. He captured altogether 9 wickets after bowling in two innings.

Hasan Mahmud was adjudged the Player of the Match for his outstanding bowling display.

Promising opener Tanzid Hasan also contributed to Bangladesh’s victory with an innings of 101 runs with the bat. Therefore, Wasim Akram praised Hasan Mahmud and Tanzid Hasan.
