Beach Football: Abahani, Bashkata reach semis

Abahani Krira Chakra and Bashkata Players Association reached the semifinals of the Walton 1st Cox’s Bazar Beach Football Tournament on Sunday. In the day’s first match, Abahani Krira Chakra defeated Shatadal Club, Ramu by 8-5 goals at the Laboni Point in Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach.
Abu Hanif of Abahani Krira Chakra hit a hat-trick while Redwan of Shatadal Club scored four goals with a hat-trick.
In the day’s other match, Bashkata Players Association beat Coatbazar Players Association by 4-1 goals in the tie-breaker at the same venue.
The allotted time ended in a 3-3 draw. Alamgir, Ehsan, Bhutto of Bashkata scored one goal each while Piku Barua, Salam, Babor of Coatbazar netted one goal each.
