Derailment snaps Kishoreganj-M’singh rail link

The rail communications between Mymensingh and Kishoreganj remained suspended since Thursday afternoon after derailment of a wheel of Chattogram-bound Nasirabad Express train.
AKM Quamruzzaman, station master of Bhairab Railway Station said the accident took place around 1 pm when the train was
crossing Jagannathpur area of Bhairab. Ferdous Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Bhairab Railway Police Station said a relief train has already reached the spot from Akhaura.
It may take three or four hours to restore the rail communications, he added
