Fatikchhari ex-chairman among 8 sued for embezzling money

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed a case against eight people, including former chairman of Fatikchhari upazila of Chattogram and two secretaries of Narayanhat Union Parishad in the upazila, for embezzling money.
ACC integrated district office-2 deputy director and investigation officer Md Jafar Sadeque Shiblee filed the case accusing the eight.
The accused are: Narayanhat ex-UP charman Abu Jafar Mahmud, 53, Sudhir Kumar Pal, 55, ex-UP secretaries Md Gius Uddin, 40, now he is an assistant teacher of Purbo Guman Mordon Government Primary School and Md Shahdat Hossain Chowdhury, 35, now an assistant teacher of Datmara ABZ Sikder High School, M/S Tayob Enterprize propaitor Md Tayob, 35, M/S MK Enterprize propaitor Mojaffar Kamal Chowdhury, 55, M/S RN Enterprize propaitor Md Rafiqul Islam, 40, and M/S Haji Ahmed Hossain Mir propaitor Md Abu Taher, 40.
