Nusrat Jahan to tie the knot on June 19
After months of speculation, Nusrat Jahan finally took to social media to acknowledge her relationship with Nikhil Jain. Late on Monday night, she uploaded a photo on social media with the caption: “When reality is finally better than ur dreams, the best thing to hold on to in life… is each other..!! (sic).” This post was a confirmation of the Calcutta Times breaking story of their wedding that was published on May 26. But what her post didn’t mention is her wedding date. Reliable sources have revealed to CT that Nusrat is tying the knot on June 19 at 8:30pm Istanbul time. Buzz is that good friend and fellow MP Mimi Chakraborty will be attending this wedding.
Back in Kolkata, 70 people, including her family and friends, are planning to fly down for the wedding. “While Nusrat and Nikhil will fly down earlier, the guests will take off on June 16. They will reach Istanbul on June 17. The sangeet will be held on June 18,” said a source.
Preparations are on in full swing for her exclusive sangeet ceremony. Nusrat will personally choose the songs she and her beau will dance to. “Since Nusrat had gone to Ajmer sharif and then to get her access card from Parliament after she won the Lok Sabha elections, she will take a little time to settle down and decide on other details,” added the source.
