Divisional Commissioner visits Rly Station

Abdul Mannan, Divisional Commissioner, Chattogram , expressed dissatisfaction over floating shops and dirt-garbage, the polythin, tissue paper, wasted packet of chips, paper and dirty clothes lying on the platform and rail line, he cleaned the dirty himself with broom. He also directed the concerned railway men to remove the advertising banners and floating shops of different companies from the station on Thursday afternoon on a surprise visit of railway station.
Additional Divisional Commissioner Shankar Ranjan Saha, Chittagong Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ilias Hossain, General Manager of Railway Eastern Zone Syed Faruque Ahmed, Railway Station Manager Abul Kalam Azad, Railway Nirapota Bhahini (RNB) Commander Iqbal Hossain and railway officials were present during the Visit railway sources said.
Divisional Commissioner,Abdul Mannan said that every day 12 thousand tickets are being sold from Chattogram station . There is a law and order relationship with selling this ticket. We have surveillance of how much people are being deprived of buying and selling tickets. The bus stand is being monitored similarly. Here people are taking the ticket in a proper manner standing in line. If the ticket is found black market, the maximum action will be taken against them.
He said that one kind of hobby to see if the railway station area is clean. The railway stations were not so clean ten years ago. Keeping the world clean, we also keep our railway stations clean. People should be made aware of not taking away the dirt-rubbish from place to place. Its need to build awareness and change our mentality.
