UP election in 4 unions of Fatikchhari held

Local govt elections in 4 union parishad of Fatikchari upazila was held on Thursday peacefully amid spontaneous participation of voters .
The election so held in Nanipur, Khiram, Rosangri uions of Fatikchari and Sikarpur under Hathazari upazila held in same day.
Upazla election office sources said in Nanupur unon Osman Gani Babu elected Chairman with Boat symbol and Sohrab Hossain elected as chairman of Khiram union as independent candidate. The casting of vote continued from 8 am to 4 pm without any break and peacefully. While contacted UZ election officer Humayun Kabir told that the election in this upazla held in a fair and peaceful manner. On same day election in Rosangri union No.7 ward and No.7 ward of Sikarpur under Hathazari Upazila held .
Md. Idrish elected in Sikarpur ward with 353 votes and in Rosangri ward Nazimuddin elected member . In Nanupur UP, Goni gets 8 thousand votes and Md Soharab Hossain with 3 thosuand votes elected chairman of these two Ups respectively.
