Apurba, Safa Kabir in Nazia Hasan’s story

Safa Kabir and Apurba worked together as a pair in Valentine’s Day special play titled Tumi Bolley. Story of the play was written by Apurba’s wife Nazia Hasan Adity for the first time.
Apurba and Safa played in roles of Aayan and Hridita respectively in this romantic story based play made by Mahmudur Rahman Himi. Under same director’s direction they earlier worked together in play titled Tomar Jonnyo, which got popularity among the viewers.
While talking about casting them again in his play director Himi said, “Viewers enjoyed my directed play Tomar Jonnyo where viewers liked Apurba and Safa as a pair on the screen. For this reason, I have made this play casting them again. I give thanks to Nazia Bhabi to write such a nice story for the play. Shooting of the play was done at a new shooting spot in the capital’s Uttara area on January 13 and 14.
While talking about acting in the play Apurba told this correspondent, “Safa Kabir is a cute, organised and polite actress. It is no doubt she is doing well in acting now.”
Safa Kabir shared her feelings by this way, “Apurba Bhaiya is such an actor who guides me while working with him. He also gives me advices in this regard. I also try to learn something to work with him. I give thanks to director Himi to cast me in his drama.”
Apurba acted and Nazrul Islam Raju directed drama serial Ghore Bairey is being aired on NTV now. His acted only movie was Gangster Returns.
On the other hand, Safa at the end of last year performed as a model in a TV commercial of Fair & Lovely under Russell Shikder’s direction. She has keen interest to work in big screen.
