Last round of BFL to be held today
The final round matches of the Bangladesh Football League (BFL) will be held today, with five matches are scheduled to take place at separate venues across the country.
On the day, Mohammedan Sporting Club will face Brothers Union at Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in Cumilla.
Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society will take on Bangladesh Police Football Club at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.
At the Shaheed Miraj-Tapan Stadium in Manikganj, Arambagh Krira Sangha will play against Abahani Limited Dhaka.
Meanwhile, PWD Sports Club will meet Fortis Football Club at the Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur.
Defending champions Bashundhara Kings will face Fakirerpool Young Men’s Club at the Bashundhara Kings Arena in the capital.
All matches are scheduled to kick off at 3:45pm.
The final round will determine the remaining league standings. Bashundhara Kings have already secured the league title with one match to spare, while Abahani and Fortis, both on 34 points, will battle for the runners-up position.
