Poll materials sent to remote centers in Khagrachhari by helicopter

Election materials and required manpower were sent by helicopter to three remote polling centers under Lakshmichhari and Dighinala upazilas in the district on Friay.
Assistant Returning Officer and Lakshmichhari Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Zahid Iqbal told reporters that the election materials were sent by an army aviation helicopter from 8th Field Artillery Regiment helipad of Bangladesh Army in Lakshmichhari to remote polling centers at Shuknachhari and Futyachhari government primary schools under the upazila as per the directive of the Election Commission.
Some 1885 voters are in the two polling centers- Shuknachhari and Futyachhari government primary schools.
