‘Kidnapped’ Khagrachhari headmaster returns safe

The headmaster of a school who was reportedly kidnapped from his residence in Ramgkaitta area of Dighinala Upazila Sadar on Monday returned home on Friday evening.
The victim was identified as Usha Alo Chakma, the headmaster of Rangkarja High School in the area.
While asked about his missing, the victim was reluctant to disclose anything only saying that “I am still alive and that’s all.”
Three persons including a village head, who were also reportedly kidnapped from the area over rivalry in territorial politics of the hills on October 25, did not return home so far.
