Prangonemor in five days with Tagore
Prangonemor, one of the most prominent theatre troupes in the country, organizes a five-day theatre festival titled Rabindranth-e Panchdin Prangonemor from Friday.
As a part of the festival, the troupe stages five Tagore plays at the Nilima Ibrahim Auditorium of Bangladesh Mahila Samiti in the capital’s Baily Road area.
Eminent theatre personality Syed Jamil Ahmed inaugurated the festival on the Mahila Samiti premises, while chief executive officer and managing director of IDLC Arif Khan was also present as the chief guest. After the inauguration, Prangonemor staged its sixth production Shesher Kobita, based on the Rabindranath Tagore’s novel with the same title, which is directed by Nuna Afroz and scripted by Ananta Hira.
