BD A team leaves for Dublin tomorrow

The Bangladesh A team will leave for Dublin, Ireland on Saturday (July 28) morning to play five-match one-day series and three-match T20 series against their Ireland counterpart.
Cricket Board on Monday announced that Bangladesh A team squad for the tour of Ireland with Mominul Haque, Soumya Sarkar and Taskin Ahmed are included in the squad that will take on Ireland A in a limited-overs series starting on August 1.
The One-day series will be played in Wicklow from August 1-10, followed by the three T20 games in Dublin on August 13, 15 and 17.
Mominul will lead the second string Bangladesh side in the five One-day series while top order batsman Soumya Sarkar will captain the team for the three T20 matches that follow the 50-over games.
Mominul recently featured in the two Tests against Windies in which he had poor numbers. After a solitary run in both innings combined in North Sound, Mominul ended the Test series with another duck and a score of 15 in the Kingston Test.
Soumya, who has played only T20Is for Bangladesh in 2018, has also not been in the best of forms. Following a half-century against Sri Lanka in February, the left handed batsman Soumya crossed 20 only once in eight attempts.
Bangladesh A squad: Soumya Sarker (captain for T20 series and Vice Captain for one-day series), Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Fazle Mahmud Rabbi, Mominul Haque (captain for one-day series) , Afif Hossain Dhrubo, Syed Khaled Ahmed, Shariful Islam, Al Amin (Jr.), Zakir Hasan, Nayeem Hasan, Sunzamul Islam, Quazi Nurul Hasan Sohan, Shaif Uddin, Mizanur Rahman, Saif Hassan and Taskin Ahmed.
