Man’s body found in Cox’s Bazar

UNB, Cox’sBazar :
 Police recovered the body of a man from a hotel in Kolatoli beach area of Sadar upazila on Wednesday evening.
The deceased was identified as Abdullah, 23, a resident of Sonargaon of Narayanganj district.
Sub-inspector Bakhtiar Ahmed of Sadar Police Station said Abdullah along with his wife Laki Akhter had rented a room of hotel ‘Water View’ in Kolatali beach of the Bay of Bengal for their visit to the beach on Wednesday.
Abudullah allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with the ceiling fan of the hotel room on Wednesday evening when his wife went out of the room, said police.
On information, police recovered the body for post-mortem.
Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Bakhtiar Ahmad said police detained the victim’s wife Laki Akhter for interrogation.
