Imparting global standard education stressed

The 2-day long Golden Jubilee celebration of Kadalpur High School and College in Raozan Upazila ended amid colourful festivity and enthusiastic mood across the area yesterday .
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid MP graced the concluding session of the anniversary programme yesterday as Chief Guest. Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Md Muslim Chowdhury inaugurated the golden jubilee programme on Friday afternoon through launching reminiscence , cultural programmes , distribution of Kits and selling of rafle draw coupon as Chief Guest.
At the opening session, Joint Secretary of Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare Md. Mohsin Chowdhury, Secretary of Silver Jubilee Celebration Committee and General Manager of Sonali Bank Nizamuddin Ahmed Chowdhury were present at the inaugural session among others.
The second day’s concluding session programme passed off through daylong programs including colourful rally, discussion meeting, reminiscence, reception, cultural program, rafle draw, prize distribution etc.
Minister for Education Md. Nurul Islam Nahid MP graced the main chapter of the two days long program yesterday as chief guest.
The chief guest in his deliverations said usual normal education system need to be changed for flourishing the talents of the students . He said we must go ahead towards global standard education to create new devices and technology in education system. He urges the guardians to be more attentive to their children and students asked to be more devoted in their study rather run away towards any nuisances . The Minister commits to sanction fund for construction of 6-storied building for Kadalpur High school & college and 4-storied building for Kadalpur Ideal High school .
The minister also stressed the need for moral and good education aimed at creating good citizen. Chairman of the Parliamentary standing committee on Ministry of Railway ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP attended it as key speaker.
The local lawmaker in his brief deliverations reiterated the development activities so far underwent and ongoing in Raozan during his tenure in it. Former Minister Ziauddin Bablu, Secretary of Secondary Education Md. Sohrab Hossain, Finance Secretary Muslim Chowdhury, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Expatriates Welfare Mohsin Chowdhury, Chief Engineer of Education Engineering Directorate Dewan Md. Hanzala, and Raozan Upazila Chairman Ehsanul Haider chowdhury Babul were present as special guests in the concluding session.
Deputy commissioner of Chittagong Md. Zillur Rahman Chowdhury presided over the meeting . The concluding session was moderated by Nizam Ahmed Chowdhury.
