Two matches of 1st Div Volleyball decided in opener

Uttara Sporting Club and East and Boys Club won their respective opening matches of the Walton Air Conditioner First Division Volleyball League held on Thursday at the Volleyball Stadium.
In the day’s matches, Uttara Sporting Club defeated Madertek Mitali Sangha by 3-0 set while East and Boys beat Bangladesh Jail by 3-2 set.
Zahid Ahasan Russel MP, chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Youth and Sports Ministry, formally inaugurated the meet as chief guest.
